A native of Durham, he was the son of Yvonne Jones Suggs and husband, Willard (Buddy) Suggs, Jr. and Craig, Carlyle and wife, Penny Carlyle.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was baptized there on Mother's Day 2001. Victor loved his family and friends and was looking forward to the birth of his first child due anytime. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, R.D. (Bobby) Jones, Sr. and Frances Wesley Jones, Ruby and Nathan Carlyle; cousin, Sandra Clemmer; uncle, Wayne Bost and Rex Bair.

He is survived by his Jessica Williamson of Hillsborough; brothers, Harold Jones, Jr. and Chris Jones both of Durham; Craig Carlyle, Randall Carlyle, Dale Carlyle, Eddie Carlyle and Scott Carlyle of Kinston; aunts and uncles, Theresa and Philip Clemmer of Franklinton; Donna Bost, R. D. Jones, Jr. and Loretta Bair of Durham, Maudene and Joey Rice of Beaufort, Bobby and Carolyn Carlyle of Kinston, Lionel Carlyle of Smithfield, Sylvia and Clarence Puckett of Ft.

Meyers, Joan and Bobby Suttan of La Grange; cousins, Jennifer, Todd, Ashleigh and Sam Whaley, Laura and Justin Clemmer, Michael and Bryan Hill and several great- aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and all his many friends that he loved and cherished. Willett, age 78, of 4546 Brock died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Willett was born in Sanford, NC and retired as a machinist. He was the son of the late Harvey Willett and the late Rachel Lawhorn Willett and the husband of Hester McCracken Willett. Mr.

Willett was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. Il. Survivors include his wife, Hester E. Willett of the home; OBITUARIES nine years.

Mr. McNamee was a decorated Navy combat veteran of the Second World War. He served in both the European and Pacific Theatres of Operation and fought in the Battle of the Atlantic. Mr. McNamee piloted a landing craft on D- Day, and was aboard the U.S.S.

Missouri at the signing of the Japanese surrender. He was the recipient of the Presidential Citation. Mr. McNamee was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Knights of Columbus. He was retired from the Bergen County Utility Authority of New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary C. McNamee; his sons, Kenneth and Martin McNamee of Chapel Hill; and his sister, Helen Morris of St. Marys, WV. The funeral mass will be offered at 11 a.m., Tuesday at St. Thomas More.

NORWOOD DURHAM Mrs. Dorothy Womack Norwood, 95, entered eternal rest, as she slept, on Wednesday, April 21, 2004. She was a homemaker, loving grandmother and avid gardener, who loved to cook. She attended Wake County schools as a child.
